Chapter Summary: Soah is a girl from a small village that has suffered a long drought. In order to appease the Water God the village people must sacrifice a bride to him, and Soah is sold by her father as a sacrifice. The Water God (Habaek) welcomes Soah as his new bride and brings her to his Water Kingdom where her new life begins. While she is in the Water Kingdom, Soah finds herself being attracted to Muhee who introduces himself as Habaek's cousin. However, Muhee and Habaek are actually the same person, as Habaek assumes the form of a child by day and an adult by night.
