She has a very dynamic personality, but was sad and lonely because of the nearly complete isolation she is kept in. However, when Ryuuya arrives as her new guardian,and along with the companionship of Uraha, she becomes happier than she has ever been in her life. Uraha and Ryuuya are her only friends. In exchange for saving their lives, she is cursed and banished into the sky, fated to grieve and dream sad dreams until she is rescued. The events of AIR take place in the 1000th summer since she was banished.
