I recently picked it up (so to speak) and it's pretty good and the search feature found no discussions on it so yeah... Discuss?
I just noticed, Hayate and I have the same birthday. It's odd. In any case the series is very... open to making fun of itself. It laughs at manga cliche's and from time to time pulls random rants about the content of the story or images (such as a tid bit about the camera angle when displaying an oil drum).

Think back (or, what the hell, forward) to your most or one of your most happiest times and post about the joyous event. I mean absolute euphoria, or the closest you've come to it. And go crazy.
Be sure to clap your hands in the process.

Any little tid bit of random info that you either don't know, or do know and think that the information would be interesting to others. Ask a question or enlighten us with useless info. For example: Why is the sky blue? Then someone would post an answer in response. Also, someone could just go straight out and say: The sky is blue because of the scattering of the light from the sun when it enters our atmosphere. The longer wavelengths of lower frequencies are able to pass directly through our atmosphere easier. The shorter wavelengths are wither absorbed or completely reflected. The absorbed light in turn is soon released, but from the atmosphere itself rather than directly from the sun. This also applies to how the color changes as the sun sets. The light must past through more atmosphere before reaching you and thus is far more diluted to the point where barely any blue ends up reaching you (the absorbed light is scattered in all directions splitting it up, while the light passing directly through comes to you directly). http://www.sciencemadesimple.com/sky_blue.html if they felt that was an interesting bit of info to know. Post away if you care to do so. I originally posted this a while back and people got the wrong impression. It became a game... sort of like the whole "Throw something at the Next Poster". That's not the intent here. This is asking not because the thread says so, but because you're genuinely curious about something and want to know why. It helps if your too lazy to use Google. Here's the original thread: http://www.mangavolume.com/forums/index.ph...&qpid=14541 First question: What's inertia? Not simply define it but explain it. I'm curious and even though I aced the Test concerning it I really can't say I understand it at all.

Hey there. I, personally, don't mind the new skin, but people have different preferences right? Soooooo why not let us choose the skin? I don't mean by voting but have multiple skins set up so that we can click on an option between a few and that skin becomes the default skin for when we visit the site. That way people can choose their favorite and change it when they feel like they need a change. I'm not sure if this idea is implementable but I've seen it done on other sites. See here for example:
http://runehq.com/index.php?skin=grayblue at the top left you can see a number of squares next to the word "skins:". You simple click on a square and it changes the skin to your choice. I think it would be a bit more individualized and people would be more satisfied. Not sure if this will work on invision board but I hope it will.

I already asked this before, but at that time the quote button didn't work. So let me ask again... what does the quote button do?
Just curious because as amusing as it is to watch a plus sign change into a minus sign and back again, it doesn't hold my interest for too long. EDIT: Can someone change the title from "dor" to "For"? Pretty please? |

I lack the ability to love people, get it straight. However, I do enjoy my own company and acknowledge I am all around quite awesome. I like myself just the right amount. 20 Jun 2009 - 22:07 Friends
