Flood Control!

I know everyone has been annoyed by the bots and I haven't been around to help but I have now programed a flood control program into the pm system. This will make users wait 2 minutes before sending another pm, so you figure if you are talking to someone it will take a few seconds for them to get the pm and time to write a reply so 2 minutes seems to fit well. Also. I have been cleaning up accounts that have been spamming, have two accounts with the same ip or just breaking a lot of rules on the forums. So IF you have been banned and you have a legitimate reason for having two accounts, please tell me the reason why. This new feature is to make the enjoyment of this website more enjoyable for those who are not bots. So have fun and enjoy! I will be trying my best to make things such as this better for you guys.

Site Construction

I have been getting various requests for adding chapters and working on the site so I figured I would get it over with in one post and get things set up. We will be adding a series adder soon for administrators and site workers. However. There is still a lot of problems that need to be worked on. Such as, titles, errors in chapters and updates on series we already have. However. There is not much more to be done and we want a solid foundation before adding more to the site. Now. If you are interested. Please post below and if you wish to help me create a team in which we work on updates and adding series. I need dedicated people and they have to have a few hours a week to spend on this project. I'm looking for 8-10 people and a team leader that will help with this project. As soon as we get this done the site will be expanded once again. But don't worry there is incentives! I will be giving super member ship to those who work with me on this project. If you have any questions of concerns, please pm. If not and you would like to join make a post. Your account will be reviewed and posts made will be reviewed before being accepted. Keep in mind I need active members so only active team members will be rewarded.

Offical Team Assembly

Hello, as you can see I have been doing a lot of work around the site and I need to increase the output for many reasons. One of which is that a dead line is set before we can add new series. The dead line? I have to make sure every series has a picture a summary and genres(99% done) for the first part. The second part is that ever series must have a complete listing up to date (90% done). The third, well I have to add chapter titles to all the chapters that have titles on the site(9% done). This all has to be done by may 17th. What I'm looking for is someone who can spend a couple hours a day adding chapter titles to the series. They will be given a title under these conditions, people under Site Management these rules apply after today.

Rules:
*Must have 50 forums posts or more for account review.
*Must have the ability to spend time on the site in small to medium quantity's
*Must Maintain 500 title chapters a week
*Should have a way for fast contact

I am looking for maturity and the ability of problem solving. We as a team will be doing a considerable amount of work. I ask of you to maintain at least 500 titles a week due to the fact that this is a close deadline. To put it in perspective the fast we get this done the faster we will be able to get to adding series. After chapter titles other jobs will become available. I am also looking for a team captain, details of this will be explained once you are added to the team. Please only post if your interested or have any questions.

Here are the steps needed to follow to get to our channel:

1) Download and extract the file where ever you will like. It will extract a file called MangaVolume.

2) Open MangaVolume and run the icon\exe called mIRC

3) Once opened you will be prompted with a box, hit continue. Then another box will appear, please enter in your name email address and the nick that you want. The nick is the only thing that will appear to anyone else. Please pick a alternative nick. Your nick may be already in use by another person. Then click the ok button.

4) Next you will notice a lightning bolt under file in the left hand corner. Click that and a box with the title MangaVolume will appear, once connected you should be able to talk using the bar at the bottom.

Nick:
You will want to register your nick so no one else has it.

1) Type this in /ns register "password" "email" fill in the the email and your password respectively without the " ".
2) Check you email and copy and paste the confirmation into the channel you are on. Now you should be able to log in with your password.

Login:

1) To login make sure your nick is the one you registered. You can change it using the /nick "name" command. Replace "name" with the nick to your name.

2) Next in the channel. Type /identify "password" Please replace "password" with the one you choose for your nick.
